A conversation with Kristin Burkholder (microbiology) and Carrie Byron (marine ecology) from the University of New England. While they would describe themselves as different types of scientists - a lab scientist vs an applied scientist - they have teamed together for the last few years to look at a wide variety of science questions they have about seaweed, a high-growth industry in Maine.
This page felt pretty chill to read—no walls of text, just quick bits that tell you what you need without making it a whole project. I didn’t have to hunt around to figure out the point, and the spacing makes it easy on the eyes. I ended up clicking into Drift Boss in the middle of skimming, and it loads fast and gets you playing right away with that one-button setup, which is honestly kind of satisfying.
