Maine Science Festival 2021 February online forum

University of Maine researchers have been working on innovative approaches to off-shore wind for almost a decade. In the UK, offshore wind farms have been part of energy generation since 2003. In this forum, you’ll hear about the projects in the UK and Maine, and can join the discussion about what can be learned from each other.

Dan Burgess, Director of the Governor’s Energy Office will provide a short introduction about where Maine is currently with regards to off-shore wind and the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding with the United Kingdom.
