The 2018 MSF was another resounding success, and a wonderful celebration of the remarkable science happening throughout Maine. Just a few highlights:
– Over 60 events and activities were held over the span of four days, with 9,500 attendees over the weekend.
– We had a spectacular headliner event with Robert Krulwich from RadioLab, with an edited version of his talk available via Maine Public.
– Another extraordinary number of partners and collaborators from throughout Maine, covering higher education, arts organizations, nonprofits, and businesses.
– A fantastic Friday Field Trip Day, with almost 700 middle school students from all over the state having a day of MSF programming just for them.

The MSF programming team has already started meeting for 2019 – the 5th Annual Maine Science Festival (March 13-17, 2019, in Bangor). We are excited to continue bringing a spotlight to the remarkable science and scientists in Maine!
