2017 Maine Science Festival Headliner Announced

MSF 2017 will feature a live taping of Public Radio’s You’re The Expert

The Maine Science Festival is thrilled to announce the 2017 headliner for the 3rd Annual Festival: You’re the Expert a live show, podcast, and public radio program on 90.9 WBUR, Boston’s NPR station. You’re the Expert uses comedy to make academic research more accessible and exciting. Through game show segments and hilariously misguided guesses, a panel of comedians will try to get to the bottom of what a distinguished scientist studies all day. You won’t want to miss being part of the audience for this live show and podcast taping. You’re the Expert is hosted by Chris Duffy and produced by Pretty Good Friends.

According to Kate Dickerson, MSF Director, “We are really excited to bring in a show this year, and You’re the Expert is going to be a great one. With a dynamic host in Chris, and top-level comedians, we are sure you’ll have a fantastic evening of science and entertainment. Best of all, we will continue to highlight that science is everywhere.”

You’re The Expert is Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 7:30pm, at Hampden Academy Performing Arts Center. Tickets are on sale now:
