2015 Keynote Announced: Tony DeRose from Pixar Studios

The audience for the Saturday talk is all ages, with a recommendation of middle school on up. Tickets are $15/adults, $10/students, and seating will be reserved. You can get your tickets in person at the Cross Insurance Center box office, online at the Cross Center website or Ticketmaster. This is the only MSF event that requires ticket purchases, and a great chance to see how a company uses science to create art![/vc_column_text][button title=”BUY TICKETS” link=”” target=”blank” showicon=”left”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]* Tony is currently a Senior Scientist and lead of the Research Group at Pixar Animation Studios. Tony was a major contributor to the Oscar® winning short film “Geri’s game”, in 1999 he received the ACM SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics Achievement Award, and in 2006 he received a Scientific and Technical Academy Award® for his work on surface representations.
