  1. Michael Burman (2018 5 Minute Genius) MSF Advisor from the University of New England was featured in a Bangor Metro article about ways to improve study/work habits.

  2. Three past presenters – all part of the University of Maine Climate Change Institute – Paul Mayewski, Sean Birkel and Cindy Isenhour – discussed the impact of climate change in Maine.

  3. The University of Maine‘s Advanced Structures and Composites Center received a $1.4 million grant for the design of a concrete floating offhshore wind turbine. Habib Dagher (2016 5 Minute Genius) has talked about this project at the Maine Science Festival.

  5. MSF 2019 Sponsor Revision Energy sent a solar-power emergency trailer to the Bahamas, in response to Hurricane Dorian.
