Nadir Yildrim

Co-founder & President, Revolution Research Inc.

Dr. Nadir Yildirim earned his Ph.D. in Forest Resources from the University of Maine, is a graduate of the University of Maine Innovation Engineering Program, and was research scholar at Purdue University.

Nadir has been working with advanced nanocomposites for over 7 years. He has been Program Manager for various development projects in nanocomposites and advanced materials, including studies of fire retardant nanocomposites, water repellent nanocellulose composites, starch foams, aerogels, bio-based panels and eco-friendly thermal insulation composite foam boards for green buildings. 

As Co-founder and President of Revolution Research Inc., Nadir has received grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Maine Technology Institute (MTI) for development of eco-friendly, nanocellulose-based, green building materials. 

In his free time, Nadir enjoys swimming, scuba diving, snowboarding and spending time with his family.
