Lindsay earned her B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Unity College, and her M.S. in Biology from the University of Western Ontario. For many years, she traveled across the U.S. and Canada working as a wildlife researcher for several government and non-profit agencies.
Lindsay has worked with dogs for conservation purposes since 2011, when she began training and handling dogs to recover large game animals for hunters. Since 2013, Lindsay has worked as a professional dog trainer, specializing in science-based training techniques. In 2018, she started Science Dogs of New England and began training scent detection dogs to assist biologists with data collection by sniffing out small, cryptic, and otherwise difficult-to-find research targets.
