2018 MSF Potential Presenters: Our programming team will go through the submittals and the 2018 programming will be set up based on their recommendations. The programming team will make their judgments based on a number of different factors, including: type of science/math, type of event, audience, innovative approaches happening in Maine, revealing hidden secrets, diversity of programming from past years, and logistically what we can make work.

If you have presented in the past: in order to ensure the viability of the MSF, your activity MUST BE DIFFERENT than what you have presented previously. If you have any questions about this, please contact participate@mainesciencefestival.org

Audience, additional information: Our Friday Field Trip is open to middle school students from across the state of Maine, and will take place on Friday, March 16th, 2018, from 8:30am-12:00pm, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

A Hands-on activity is an activity where the students walk up to you and dive into the science you’re presenting. The set up is similar to a vendor space at a conference.

The space for hands-on partners is two 8-foot tables.

We expect to have the programming finalized by January 2018.

The 4th Annual Maine Science Festival is March 15-18th, 2018.

Applications are now closed. If you have any questions please contact participate@mainesciencefestival.org
