Come and check out this exhibit of field equipment used by University of Maine faculty and students to measure a variety of natural phenomena. Equipment may include ground(ice)-penetrating radar, high-end GPS units, lidar, ice drills, fish traps, sediment corers, and similar gear. Students and faculty who use the equipment will be present to demonstrate and explain how this equipment is used. They will also bring examples of data output and impact of studies that used the equipment.
