Cross Insurance Center, 515 Main Street

Medicine is the most human of sciences and reflecting on the history of healthcare in Maine reminds us of both powerful continuities and dramatic changes in medical care over time. Three short presentations will set the stage for an engaging audience discussion: first, about an early manuscript history of Maine medicine, next on the origins of the Mabel Wadsworth Center, concluding with medicine in Bangor today.
