Friday Field Trip Day at the MSF: March 15th, 2019
The Maine Science Festival is once again hosting a Friday Field Trip Day, and we have a change for 2019: the Friday Field Trip day will only be available to 7th and 8th graders from schools around the state. We’re incorporating this change based on feedback and our experiences from past festivals, and as a way to ensure the best possible experience for these students. The Friday Field Trip Day presenters will be creating their programming explicitly for this age group, and they take great care in ensuring the content will be a good match.
As always, the remainder of the Maine Science Festival will have events and activities for all ages, all but the headliner available free-of-charge. The 5th annual Maine Science Festival is March 13-17, 2019.
The Friday Field Trip Day will be held at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor from 9:00am-1:00pm. There is no-cost to attend the Friday Field Trip Day, thanks to our Metamorphic Sponsor*, but schools must commit to attending for the whole time. If you are at this page, you have early access to signup; please fill out the form below.
We will be limiting the audience to approximately 500 students. In keeping with our mission to inspire students in all of Maine, priority will be given to schools who have never attended the festival.
Please contact MSF Education Coordinator Angela Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
